Simpson Thacher Advises on Two of the Top Five Largest Private Equity Funds Closed in Q1 2026
Simpson Thacher advised on two of the top five largest private equity funds closed in Q1 2026, according to Preqin data. The Firm represented Coller Capital on Coller International Partners IX (CIP IX), its largest fund to date at $17 billion, with the team led by partners Seema Shah, Mia Hatfield and Morgan Shubin. Simpson Thacher also advised Triton Partners on Triton 6, which raised €5.5 billion, its largest fund to date, with the team led by partners Seema Shah, Vasanth Padaki and Morgan Shubin.
