Gabe Silva and Simpson Thacher Recognized at Tech Capital Global Awards
Gabe Silva was named “Legal Leader of the Year” at the Tech Capital Global Award for his leadership and legal advisory work across the digital infrastructure sector. Gabe was selected for his demonstrated expertise across all verticals of digital infrastructure (data centers, towers and fiber) across the Americas, Europe and Asia. His recent accomplishments include advising Zayo in its acquisition of Crown Castle’s Fiber Solutions business, valued at approximately $4.25 billion; DigitalBridge on the formation of a joint venture with La Caisse for their joint acquisition of Yondr; Macquarie on its up to $5 billion investment in the HPC data center business of Applied Digital; and Vantage Data Centers in its acquisition of Yondr Group’s 300 MW+ hyperscale data center campus in Johor, Malaysia.
Simpson Thacher also advised on AirTrunk’s A$16 billion sustainability-linked refinancing and S$2.25 billion Singapore green loan, which was named “Project Finance Deal of the Year.”
