Javad Asghari Profiled in Law360 as a 2026 Energy "Rising Star"
Javad Asghari was profiled in Law360 as a 2026 Energy "Rising Star." The award recognizes top legal talent whose professional accomplishments and major transaction work distinguish them as leaders in their respective practice areas. Javad was recognized for his work on several significant energy and infrastructure transactions, including advising EQT Infrastructure on the announced $33.4 billion take-private of AES Corporation, the second-largest take-private in the power industry’s history; Stonepeak on its acquisition of a 40% interest in the $18 billion Louisiana LNG project, the largest foreign investment in Louisiana’s history; and Capital Power Corporation on transactions that positioned the company as one of the largest independent power producers in North America. Javad noted that as energy, infrastructure and AI projects grow in scale and complexity, companies are increasingly seeking law firms that can assemble multidisciplinary teams to meet their needs. "I think we're seeing it in the data center space... Being able to integrate all of those work streams into a coordinated, client-focused product is becoming increasingly valuable," he said. He further explained that "Firms that are able to incentivize that collaboration... will be ahead of the pack.”
