Eric Geffner and Michael Kuh Quoted in The American Lawyer on the Increased Demand of Sports Transactions
Eric Geffner and Michael Kuh, Co-Heads of the Firm’s Sports group, were quoted in a The American Lawyer article on the growing investor appetite for sports assets. Eric noted that flagship franchise sports transactions are important market signals. “Deals involving iconic teams reinforce the view that sports assets remain highly coveted and are increasingly being viewed as a distinct asset class by investors.” Michael added that “the next phase of sports investing is likely to be defined by platform-building,” as investors look beyond team stakes to opportunities across media, technology and infrastructure.
