Simpson Thacher represented Grupo Smart Fit in its strategic agreement with Avocado Apps, LLC, the developer of the GymRats App, a fitness and wellness mobile application.
Grupo Smart Fit is the largest fitness and wellness platform in Brazil and Latin America, with more than 2,200 locations across 16 countries, and owns a portfolio of leading fitness and wellness brands, including Smart Fit, Bio Ritmo, TotalPass, BeOn, among others. Avocado Apps is engaged in the development, distribution, offering and support of the GymRats App, a fitness challenge mobile application that allows users to log workouts, compete in activity challenges and hold each other accountable.
