Partners Brian Christiansen, Spencer Sloan and Amanda Allexon, and Associate James Fine, authored an article titled, “GENIUS Act Establishes Regulatory Framework for Stablecoins,” which was published by Thomson Reuters Westlaw. The article discussed the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins (GENIUS) Act, which was recently signed into law and establishes a regulatory framework for the issuance of stablecoins backed by U.S. dollars, short-term U.S. Treasuries and certain other enumerated assets.
