Based in the Firm’s London office, Adam Brunk focuses on private equity acquisitions, dispositions and joint ventures, particularly involving the real estate sector, on behalf of leading international fund sponsors. 

Adam’s clients have included Blackstone, GLP and KKR, and he has worked on deals across Europe, North America and Asia, including Blackstone’s joint venture with Telereal Trillium for the £1.46 billion acquisition of part of Network Rail’s commercial estate portfolio, Blackstone’s C$2.6 billion acquisition of Dream Global's subsidiaries and assets, and GLP’s establishment and seeding of its fund, GLP Europe Income Partners II.

Adam began his legal career in New York, working on both public and private transactions, including in relation to shareholder activism, before relocating to London in 2018. Prior to law school, Adam taught secondary science in the School District of Philadelphia as a Teach for America corps member. He has served on the young professionals boards of the New York Foundling and Educators for Excellence and is currently a vice president of the Columbia Law School Association and a young patron of the Victoria & Albert Museum.

Adam received his A.B. from the University of Chicago, followed by a M.S. from the University of Pennsylvania, before earning his J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and served as an articles editor of the Columbia Journal of European Law. Adam also earned a Certificate in Global Business Law & Governance from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) while studying in Paris.
