Based in the London office, Emma Rachmaninov is the Co-Head of the European Financial Services and Funds Regulatory team. Her practice focuses on non-contentious regulatory matters, including cross-border M&A transactions, complex restructurings and IPOs.

She advises a broad range of financial services clients, including banks, asset managers and insurers, as well as sponsors and other investors with a particular focus on the financial services sector, including sovereign wealth funds.

Emma is recognized as a standout partner in her field and is ranked as a “Leading Partner” for non-contentious financial services regulatory by Legal 500.

  • OTPP on its acquisition of 7IM and subsequent acquisitions in the UK wealth sector by 7IM

Emma Rachmaninov is based in London and is the Co-Head of the European Financial Services and Funds Regulatory team. She focuses on non-contentious regulatory matters, with experience across cross-border M&A transactions, complex restructurings and IPOs.

Emma advises clients across the financial services industry, including banks, asset managers and insurers, as well as sponsors and other investors active in the sector, with particular experience advising private capital investors, including sovereign wealth funds.

She also counsels clients on individual accountability regimes, including the U.K. Senior Managers and Certification Regime, and on broader governance issues, including the implications of ESG considerations for corporate governance.

Emma is recognized as a standout partner in her field and is ranked as a “Leading Partner” for non-contentious financial services regulatory by Legal 500.

Emma obtained an LL.B. from King’s College London. She is admitted to practice in England and Wales.
