Simpson Thacher is representing Air Medical Group Holdings, a KKR portfolio company, in connection with its proposed acquisition of American Medical Response, Inc. from Envision Healthcare Corporation in a transaction valued at $2.4 billion. Following the transaction, the combined entities will form a new industry leading medical transportation company. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2017 and is subject to receipt of customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
