Simpson Thacher is representing First Eagle Investments and its majority stockholders, private equity funds managed by Blackstone and Corsair, in connection with the announced acquisition of a majority stake in First Eagle Investments by private equity funds managed by Genstar Capital. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2025, subject to the receipt of regulatory approvals and satisfaction of other customary closing conditions.
