Elizabeth Cooper, Global Head of Private Equity, and Rajib Chanda, Global Head of Asset Management, were quoted in an article titled, “Simpson Thacher Eyes Global Cohesion with New Leadership Roles,” which was published by The Lawyer. The article highlighted the Firm’s transatlantic bench strength and its ongoing commitment to bolstering global coordination to better serve the evolving needs of its clients. Rajib emphasized that the Firm’s strategy has always been focused on building institutionalized client relationships, noting, “Our clients think of their businesses across sectors, across geographies, across disciplines, and they want their counsel to be thinking about it the same way.” When discussing the Firm’s strategic emphasis on international growth to deepen client relationships, Elizabeth explained, “We’ve added a broad range of practices (in London) we didn’t have historically so that it’s more of a full-service shop.”
