Simpson Thacher is representing BMC Software (“BMC”) in connection with the proposed sale of a majority stake in BMC Helix (“Helix”) to Montagu. Funds managed by KKR will maintain ownership of BMC, which will also retain a minority stake in Helix. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
