Rajib Chanda Quoted in Ignites on Firms’ Efforts to Increase Retail Access to Private Markets
Rajib Chanda, Global Head of Asset Management, was quoted in an Ignites article, “The 'Three-Headed Monster' Keeping Private Retail Products in Line” discussing compliance and risk management considerations for funds that are preparing to bring private market products into the retirement space. Commenting on the hurdles and subsequent solutions that some firms may face entering the sector, Rajib noted "It really takes a three-headed monster: registered fund lawyers, private fund lawyers and ERISA counsel. That's why many firms are forming joint ventures or cooperation agreements to pair retail distribution platforms with managers experienced in private markets."
