Simpson Thacher Represents Underwriters in Registered Offerings of Senior Callable Floating Rate, Senior Callable Fixed-to-Fixed Reset Rate Notes and Fixed Rate Resetting Perpetual Subordinated Notes by Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group
Simpson Thacher recently represented the underwriters, for which Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and MUFG Securities Americas Inc. acted as representatives, in connection with the offering by Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. of $1 billion of Senior Callable Floating Rate Notes due 2031, $1 billion of 4.527% Senior Callable Fixed-to-Fixed Reset Rate Notes due 2031 and $1 billion of 5.188% Senior Callable Fixed-to-Fixed Reset Rate Notes due 2036. The offering was made pursuant to MUFG’s shelf registration statement on Form F-3 under the Securities Act.
Simpson Thacher also represented the underwriters, for which Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and MUFG Securities Americas Inc. acted as representatives, in connection with the offering by Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. of $1 billion of 6.35% Fixed Rate Resetting Perpetual Subordinated Notes. The offering was also made pursuant to MUFG’s shelf registration statement on Form F-3 under the Securities Act.
