Simpson Thacher is representing Swyft Fiber, a portfolio company of Macquarie Asset Management, in connection with its acquisition of Fastwyre Broadband’s Louisiana, Texas and Alabama high-speed fiber broadband business. Closing of the transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including certain regulatory approvals.
Swyft Fiber was founded in 2020 and provides fiber-to-the-home broadband services in Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi. This acquisition will strengthen Swyft Fiber’s growing fiber network and accelerate its mission to deliver reliable, ultra-fast connectivity to rural communities in the United States.
