Simpson Thacher recently represented the underwriters in connection with Apollo Global Management, Inc.’s registered public offering of $750 million aggregate principal amount of 5.700% Senior Notes due 2036. Simpson Thacher has represented the underwriters and initial purchasers in connection with nearly $8.5 billion of debt and equity issued by Apollo and its subsidiaries since 2014.
Apollo intends to use the proceeds from the offering of the notes for general corporate purposes, including to repurchase, repay, redeem or otherwise retire in full the $500 million aggregate principal amount outstanding of Apollo Management Holdings, L.P.’s 4.400% Senior Notes due 2026, before or upon their maturity, and to pay related fees and expenses in connection with the offering and the use of proceeds therefrom.
