Simpson Thacher represented CapVest Partners LLP (“CapVest”) in connection with the formation and raising of CapVest’s flagship private equity fund, CapVest Fund VI, which has raised €4.5 billion in total commitments, surpassing its initial target of €3.85 billion.
CapVest Fund VI will continue CapVest's established strategy of acquiring controlling stakes in defensive, non-discretionary and cash-generative businesses, partnering with strong management teams who are deeply committed to their companies. The fund will focus primarily on Western European and North American opportunities across CapVest’s core sectors of Consumer Staples, Healthcare and Essential Services.
