Wheatly has been recognized for her excellent work in leading international teams in complex multibillion-dollar deals. She has recently been named a “Rising Star” in Real Estate by Law360, recognized as one of the 2018 “Hot 100” in the “Dealmaker” category by The Lawyer, and profiled in Legal Business as one of the “Alphas,” a small group of female deal stars in London.
Wheatly started her career at Simpson Thacher in 2005 and was made partner in 2016. She received her J.D. in 2005 from Stanford Law School, where she was an editor of the Stanford Law Review and the Stanford Journal of International Law. She received her B.A. and B.S. from Duke University in 2001.
