MN8 Energy Completes Revolving Credit Facility Refinancing and New Performance Letter of Credit Facility
Simpson Thacher advised JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A., as the administrative agent and a lead arranger, in connection with the second amendment of MN8 Energy Operating Company LLC’s credit agreement (the “Amendment”). The Amendment increased the senior secured revolving credit facility to $550 million, added a $100 million performance letter of credit facility and extended the maturity date of the credit agreement to 2030.
MN8 Energy is a leading renewable independent power producer in the United States with approximately 4 gigawatts of operational and under-construction solar projects, 1.1 gigawatt hours of battery energy storage capacity comprised of over 874 projects across 29 states, and more than 100 high-power EV charging stations across 26 states.
