Enverus Acquires A2D Technologies, Inc. from TGS

Simpson Thacher advised Enverus, Inc. in connection with its acquisition of A2D Technologies, Inc. from TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company, an indirect and wholly owned subsidiary of TGS ASA, a Norwegian publicly traded company. The transaction added A2D, which has the world's largest commercial well log database, to the Enverus platform, expanding the subsurface foundation of Enverus' energy intelligence platform. 

Enverus is the leading energy AI data and analytics platform that serves more than 8,000 energy companies in over 50 countries. The company's platform draws on more than 25 years of proprietary intelligence, 2.7 petabytes of continuously updated data, over 350 million courthouse records and more than $500 billion in annual transaction value across the upstream, midstream, power, renewables, utilities and capital markets sectors.
