American Industrial Partners to Acquire Trivium with Silgan and Create a $7.3 Billion Diversified Global Metal Packaging Business
Simpson Thacher represented funds affiliated with American Industrial Partners in connection with a proposed transaction that will combine Silgan Holdings Inc.'s Metal Containers segment and Food and Beverage Flat Cap Closures businesses with Trivium Packaging B.V. to create Silgan Metal Containers and Closures. The combination will create a $7.3 billion diversified global metal packaging business providing recyclable solutions for food and beverage markets.
