Simpson Thacher represented Blackstone in the establishment of its third Asia-Pacific private equity fund, Blackstone Capital Partners Asia III (“BCP Asia III”). Blackstone has announced that BCP Asia III has held its final closing and reached its hard cap. Together with commitments from Blackstone and its affiliates, BCP Asia III raised $13.1 billion of capital commitments.
